We have been seeing the ability to edit messages in WhatsApp beta versions for months, But thanks to the new update, all users can now edit messages containing typos. Meta says if you have not received this feature, wait a few weeks.
To edit, you need to hold your finger on the message and select the Edit option. WhatsApp letters can be edited for up to 15 minutes.
The ability to edit messages in WhatsApp has the same functionality as Apple’s iMessage. Under the edited messages, the word Edited is seen so that the other party understands that you have revised the message.
